6/5/2008 - Ishmael Beah recently returned from a trip to Sierra Leone to visit his home village and the Schools for Salone project he is funding at Junctionla.  "It was a wonderful trip. I love my home, the people, the feeling and food.  I was also saddened by the conditions in Mogbwemo due to the mining company.  I witnessed people fighting for dirty water and so on.  It seems the conditions there have gotten worse since i was child living in that area."
