Michael Lahoud, Midfielder for the Major League Soccer team Chivas USA in Los Angeles, was born in Freetown Sierra Leone.  He received the 2010 MLS Humanitarian of the Year Award for his work with HIV prevention through The Wall Memorias Project.  Now he wants to give back to his homeland, Sierra Leone, by helping to build schools and improve education in this impoverished nation.
